The break-in at Cairn Court, East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire was discovered at about 7am on Monday, with police suspecting forced entry occurred between then and Sunday evening.

Five individuals dressed in black were spotted at the scene, along with a white Ford Transit van. Stolen items include the weight loss drug Wegovy and several boxes of Botox.

Police Scotland issued a warning that improper use of the Wegovy solution could lead to “serious, adverse health risks”, and urged anyone who comes across it or is offered it for sale to contact them.

Detective Inspector Scott Robertson stated, “I would urge anyone with doorbell or dash cam recording devices to review their footage.

“It’s likely it could have captured the van departing the scene or traveling nearby.

“I’d also request that drivers who were near the site at the time to look for any footage that might help with our ongoing investigations.”

Anyone with relevant information is encouraged to contact Police Scotland by referencing incident number 0527 of April 29, or to call Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111 to provide information anonymously.
